VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was struck and killed in a motor vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 15 at the Stoddard Wells Road exit.
Rescuers were called to the interstate at Stoddard Wells Rd. just after 3am on Sunday October 1, 2023. They weren’t able to revive the pedestrian.
According to authorities, the preliminary investigation indicates that a Walmart semi-truck pulling a trailer was traveling southbound just before the Stoddard Wells Rd. overpass when the semi-truck struck a pedestrian who stepped out in front of the semi from the shoulder of the freeway.
The pedestrian was pronounced pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi driver sustained no injuries.
This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino, Victorville Office.
