VICTORVILLE , CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Authorities on Wednesday released the name of a man fatally injured when he was struck by a semi tractor-trailer on southbound Interstate 15 Sunday morning.
Rescuers were called to I-15 at Stoddard Wells Road. just after 3am on Sunday October 1, 2023.
According to authorities, the preliminary investigation indicates that a Walmart semi-truck pulling a trailer was traveling southbound just before the Stoddard Wells Rd. overpass when the semi-truck struck a pedestrian who stepped out in front of the semi from the shoulder of the freeway.
San Bernardino County Coroner said the victim was identified as 83-year-old Henry Y. Rodriguez, a resident of Henderson Nevada.
This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino, Victorville Office.
