BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi-truck and trailer rolled while attempting to enter the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 at Lenwood Road early this morning. (Photo above is credit by Edgar Zepeda)
The crash happened around 9:39am on Sunday, October 22, 2023, on northbound Interstate 15 Lenwood Rd. onramp. According to California Highway Patrol Traffic Log, the driver was able to climb out of the semi-truck and was not injured. No other vehicles were reportedly involved.
According to CHP as of 1pm, the truck and trailer were uprighted and moved to the shoulder of the freeway.
CHP are still working to determine exactly how the crash happened. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
