According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 2am Friday October 27, 2023. The crash location was reported about a mile after Bear Valley Road exit.

For reasons still under investigation, the driver lost control, demolishing the rear of the trailer against a metal pole that was holding up the digital sign board (CMS). The collision caused debris from product on pallets to scattered across the roadway.

No injuries were reported at the scene. Traffic was jammed all the way backed up all the way to D Street at one point.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
