CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist injured after crashing into the back of a SUV on Interstate 15 Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a motorcycle crash. From the CHP traffic log stated a collision involving a motorcycle and two vehicles. The vehicles involved were a silver Honda Civic sedan, a black Volkswagen Tiguan SUV, and a Harley Davidson type bike.
While the investigation is early, CHP officials say the motorcyclist was driving southbound I-15 when he was lane splitting. A vehicle in front of him, cut him off and he hit the back of the VW Tiguan. He got ejected from his bike and landed in the number 1 and 2 lane just before the truck escape ramp about 7:13am Monday November 20, 2023.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with moderate to major injuries.
