ONTARIO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol said the male pedestrian ran across Interstate 15 suffered fatal injuries caused by a SUV.
CHP officers were called about 8:17pm on December 23, 2023. The incident happen on the northbound side of I-15 freeway, at the 4th Street exit where they found the victim lying in the #2 lane, the CHP traffic log said.
When CHP arrived on the scene, the male pedestrian was found unresponsive. Shortly after they pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The man’s name has not been released.
The SUV that hit the pedestrian did stop on the freeway shoulder, near the scene and the driver did call 911. The driver did remain at the scene for questioning, according to the CHP traffic log.
