California Highway Patrol officials said a semi-truck became stuck along the interstate and blocked one of three lanes just after the Bear Valley Road exit. This incident happened before 1pm on January 17, 2023.
Officials said traffic was backed up to the Palmdale Road. The lanes were reopen around 2pm.
It’s not clear why, but the CHP traffic log stated the big rig might have had drive shaft problems.
