DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A hit-and-run crash on Monday afternoon shut down the slow lane of northbound Interstate 15 near the 15/215 split. (Photo above is credit by Dee Sherman)
It happened on north I-15 near the truck bypass lanes about 3:05pm January 22, 2024. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a rollover crash. The vehicles Involved were a black Jeep Compass that overturned blocking the slow lane and a grey pickup truck.
The CHP said on the traffic log the vehicle that fled the scene is believed to be a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with driver side damage.
The collision left everyone in the Jeep with minor injuries, the Fire Department said.
