The collision occurred about 12:46pm on February 1, 2024. The crash location was on northbound I-15 at the Oak Hill Road exit. It was reported to be a total of three semi tractor trailers were involved in this collision.

It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time. One semi looked to disabled or became jackknifed in lanes. Then a second semi plowed straight through the middle of the first truck’s trailer, splitting it in half. This caused pallets and boxes to scattered debris all over the roadway. the third semi had minor damage to the rear of the trailer.

There is no word on injuries from the crash.

Emergency crews were on the scene investigating and cleaning up the debris for several hours Thursday afternoon and into the evening.

CHP issued a SIG Alert at 12:55pm for the #3 and #4 lane and Oak Hill Road offramp exit for the removal of the trailers. As of 2:40pm CHP was blocking the #4 and Oak Hill exit as they off load both trailers.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
