CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> No injuries were reported after a car caught fire just off of Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass. (Photo above is credit by Javier Almaguer)
California Highway Patrol and the fire department said they received a call of a vehicle fire that happened on northbound Interstate 15 just after Cleghorn Road. At around 7:13am on February 9, 2024, a white Honda Accord sedan was reported on fire on the right shoulder of the freeway.
Flames were coming from the engine compartment. Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.
Crews managed to control the blaze before the flames hit nearby brush. There has been no word on any injuries.
