CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was injured in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon in the Cajon Pass on Interstate 15 near Cleghorn Road exit. (Photo of the crash above is credit to Mary Costello)
The crash was reported at about 12:54pm Thursday February 22, 2024 on southbound Interstate 15 just after the Cleghorn Road exit. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department crews responded to the collision involving a black Mercedes-Benz, a semi, and a white Lexus IS series sedan.
One person from the Lexus that rolled over landed in the fast lane/ center divider were transported to local hospital with injuries of non-life-threatening injuries. No injuries were reported from the Cadillac.
It was reported one vehicle was driving reckless prior to the collision.
Traffic was backup at one point all the way to Sierra Ave. The back up spanned about a 5 mile backup as of 4pm.
