HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Wind Advisory for Monday morning until Tuesday. A Gusty Wind Event is for the mountains, Victor/Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and the Mojave Desert locations.
A weather system is going to sweep through the Southern California on Monday.
Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the high desert. With winds blowing around 30-40 mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 40-50+ mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 40-50 mph winds. Mountains will have gust 30 to 50+ mph. Max wind gust will be 60 mph.
Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 Barstow through Stateline NV as well as other area roadways.
The Wind Advisory should expire by Tuesday afternoon.
