The crash occurred about 7:17am on Thursday April 11, 2024. The crash location was about 2 mile after the Bear Valley Road exit on southbound I-15. California Highway Patrol and firefighters from Victorville City Fire Department were called to the crash scene.

For unknown reasons the red semi veered to the right shoulder crashed from the freeway and onto a ditch and landed on its side on Amargosa Road near Eucalyptus Street intersection.

The semi was carrying a full load of organic protein powder on pallets. The protein powder was causing a big cleanup process. The semi was blocking Amargosa for hour with no estimate time to reopen.

Thankfully there were no injuries and no other vehicles involved.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation, according to the CHP Victorville Office.
