National Aerial Wildland Fire will be doing Training over Southern California this Week

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The USDA Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and other federal wildland fire agencies will conduct annual training for Modular Airborne Firefighting Systems (MAFFS) personnel at Channel Islands Air National Guard Station in Port Hueneme, California, from May 6-10. 

As part of the training in Southern California, practice water drops will be conducted on a few remote areas in the Angeles National Forest also. Residents and visitors may see one or up to four low-flying C-130 aircraft and several smaller lead planes throughout the week.
