California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department said they received a call of a vehicle fire that happened on southbound Interstate 15 in the bypass lane. At around 12:37pm on May 11, 2014, of an black unknown SUV.
CHP had to close the left bypass lanes and traffic was backup for miles.
Flames were coming from the engine compartment. Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.
