BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi-tractor trailer hauling carrots overturned, on the onramp to southbound Interstate 15 in Barstow on Tuesday afternoon. Photo above is credit by Jessica Murphy.)
The big rig overturned around 2:10pm on southbound I-15 from Barstow Road/ Hwy 247 resulting in a closure on the onramp according to Caltrans.
It was reported 5 tons of carrots spilled on the onramp.
The semi driver was not hurt.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
