VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two-vehicles crash on D Street from northbound Interstate 15 offramp caused traffic for the afternoon commuters in old town Victorville. (Photo above is credit by Verenice Castillo.)
The collision about 2:06pm on May 14, 2024. The collision occurred in the intersection of D Street and the northbound I-15 off ramp to exit onto D St.
The vehicles involved in this crash were a white Nissan Pathfinder SUV and a semi tractor trailer stated on the CHP traffic log.
It was reported the semi pulling a set of mini belly dump trailers lost his brakes getting off the freeway. The semi went through the intersection, where the semi made contact with the Nissan and jacked knifed. The driver of the Nissan was transported by a ambulance to a local hospital. The semi driver was not hurt.
Commuters in the afternoon did seek alternate routes as the road was closed off.
