The California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department says the collision happened about 6:15pm on June 4, 2024, on northbound I-15 about a mile before the Oak Hill Road exit, involving a motorcyclist on a blue bike and a black and yellow Ford F-150 pickup truck.
A witness said the motorcyclist was traveling at high speeds prior to the collision. Due to unknown circumstances the rider and the pickup made contact. The rider was ejected from the bike. The rider was lying in the middle of the freeway not moving.
The rider was transported from the scene by ground ambulance to Arrowhead Medical Center in serious condition.
The pickup truck that hit the motorcyclist did stop near the scene and nobody was not injured.
