The Brook Fire was reported at about 2:32pm Sunday, June 16, 2024. The location of the fire was near Lost Lake off of Swarthout Canyon Rd and Cajon Blvd in the Cajon Pass. San Bernardino County Fire Department, San Bernardino National Forest firefighters and CAL Fire firefighters were quickly on scene.
At 3:30pm the fire had forward progression stopped at about a acre burned.
No structures were never affected by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
