RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA, (Pain In The Pass) >> A woman was hit by multiple vehicles after jumping from an overpass east of the Haven Avenue onto the 210 Freeway late Friday night.
It looks like the female intentionally jumped off the bridge around 11:50 pm Friday September 13, and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the female landed on the Eastbound 210 Freeway where multiple vehicles were traveling approximately 70 mph in the HOV lane hit her as she was lying in the roadway.
When rescue personnel arrived, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It was reported that multiple vehicles struck the female pedestrian, but it is unknown if all vehicles stopped at the scene.
A Sig-Alert was issued for two hours for the HOV and the fast lane for the investigation.
