HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Wind Advisory for Sunday night through Monday night. A Gusty Wind Event is for the mountains, Victor/Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and the Mojave Desert locations.

A weak weather system is going to sweep through the Southern California on Sunday through Monday morning. Gusty northeast winds are expected out ahead of the system.

Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the high desert. With winds blowing around 40-50 mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 30-40+ mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 40-50 mph winds. Mountains will have gust 30 to 40+ mph. Max wind gust will be 50 mph.

Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 from the top of the Cajon Pass through Stateline NV as well as other area roadways.

The Wind Advisory should expire by Monday night.
