DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A California Highway Patrol vehicle was hit Friday night on southbound Interstate 15.
The crash happened just after 6pm on February 20, 2026, on southbound I-15 about a mile before the Glen Helen Parkway exit.
According to CHP traffic log, the officer was inside his vehicle when the driver of a white Lexus RS series SUV smashed into back of the patrol car.
Both vehicles were blocking the two left lanes for over an hour for a major investigation.
At this time one person was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
