DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon involving multiple vehicles on southbound 15 Freeway near the 215 Freeway Interchange (Photo above is credit by Vanessa Medina)
The incident happened at 1:09pm on October 26, 2024, on southbound I-15 Freeway just after the southbound I-215 Freeway Interchange. Southbound 15 was briefly closed, but has since reopened.
The vehicle listed on the CHP traffic log white Toyota Corolla, tan GMC Yukon pulling a trailer with motorcycles, a black pickup truck pulling a trailer, gray SUV, dark gray Chevrolet pickup truck, and two other unknown vehicles.
When officers arrived to the scene California Highway Patrol said, there was at least four vehicles blocking the roadway. A SUV reportedly crashed into the K-rail wall at high speeds.
The male driver that reportedly crashed into the wall was reported unconscious inside the vehicle. When rescue crews arrived, they started CPR on the victim. They transported him by a ground ambulance to a local hospital where he succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision.
Other injuries are not known at this time.
