APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person is dead, and two people were airlifted to a trauma center after a rollover crash on Interstate 15 Saturday morning.

The crash occurred on northbound I-15 before the Dale Evans Parkway exit in Apple Valley. The incident occurred at 6:12am on February 22, 2025, from an iPhone crash alert.

CHP said, the driver of the white Audi Q5 Luxury SUV heading north on I-15 when the driver veered off the road and rolled over multiple times.  The vehicle came to a stop upside down and about 150 feet from the roadway.

Responding to the scene were Appley Valley Fire Department, they called for multiple medical helicopters and ground ambulances. The driver and three passengers in the Audi were seriously injured.

Two medical helicopters were dispatched. Both helicopters responded to a landing zone at the Apple Valley Airport near the crash scene by rescue crews. Reach Air Medical #43 airlifted at least one person to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The second helicopter was unknown at this time. One person was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

Rescue workers said, one person in the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The exact reason for the collision remains unknown, a blow-out tire or medical issue could be a factor.
