California Highway Patrol officers and San Bernardino County Fire responded to a solo vehicle crash about 5:18pm on March 25, 2025, off of Arrowhead Lake Road near Hesperia Lake, according to the CHP traffic log.

It’s reported a driver was traveling at a high rate of speed tried to pass on the left side of the roadway. That’s when both vehicles made contact causing the victim sliver Kia possibly an Optima sedan to lose control and rolled-over multiple times, landing on the shoulder.

The Kia driver was the only person in the vehicle. The other driver that hit her reportedly did stop at the scene.

According to San Bernardino Fire, the driver was airlifted by Mercy Air #22 at the scene to Loma Linda University Medical Center with unknown major injuries.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
