APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified the two men who died in a solo-vehicle rollover crash last week on Interstate 15.
In a press release the driver of the black 2017 Chevrolet Equinox SUV were identified as Pablo A. De Jesus, 20-year-old resident of Victorville and his passenger as Joseph J. Orduno, 36-year-old resident of Apple Valley
California Highway Patrol says the crash happened about 11:19pm on Tuesday March 18, 2025, northbound I-15 near the Hodge Road exit. The SUV was on its roof when CHP arrived.
It was reported the driver was travel at high speeds prior to overcorrected, causing the vehicle to lose control, and rollover on the freeway, hitting the guardrail, striking a metal sign pole, and coming to rest on the right shoulder.
Apple Valley Fire Department and CHP said, two male adults were trapped inside the SUV. Firefighters rendered aid to the driver and passenger. Sadly, the driver and passenger succumbed to their injuries sustained in the crash.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
