CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Eleven active military member were transported to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries after a crash involving a small shuttle bus and another two vehicles Saturday morning on southbound Interstate 15 Saturday morning. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the crash on southbound I-15 freeway just after the Kenwood Avenue exit around 9:18am, April 12, 2025 by multiple iPhone alerts.
CHP and fire rescue said the three vehicles involved in the collision was a white small shuttle bus, a white Honda Pilot SUV and a Honda Accord. The bus hit the center ditch and overturned on the passenger side. Both Honda’s crash into the center divider in the 15/215 split.
San Bernardino County Fire said that as a precaution, 11 adults out of 15 patients on the bus were taken to nearby hospitals with minor to moderate injuries. The other 4 people refused to be transported
They also said no serious injuries were reported.
This remains a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available on the hit and run. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
