HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Strong gusty winds are expected with the weather system. This could create hazardous driving conditions and areas of blowing dust. Around 10am Saturday morning the strong winds will blow.

The Southern California Weather Force has issued a Wind Warning for the high deserts. With winds blowing around 30-40+ mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 40-50+ mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 40-50+ mph winds. Mountains will have gust 30-40+ mph. Stateline/Primm/Las Vegas NV will have 30-40+ mph winds. Max wind gust will be 70 mph in spots.

Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 from the top of the Cajon Pass through Las Vegas NV as well as other roadways in the desert.

Also secure all outdoor stuff like chairs, BBQ, and other outdoor decorations.
