CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Victorville man tragically lost his life in a crash between a motorcycle and a sedan at the top of the Cajon Pass on Mother’s Day, The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office said.
The accident occurred approximately 4:15pm on Sunday May 11, 2025, about a mile after the Oak Hill Road exit on southbound Interstate 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Donald “Donny” Leroy Post, 58-year-old resident of Victorville, was riding a motorcycle on the southbound 15 Freeway, just south of Oak Hill Road, when he collided with a silver Chevrolet sedan in the No. 1 Lane. The impact knocked Post off his bike, leaving him with major injuries.
Post was transported by Mercy Air #22 helicopter to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
He later passed away at the hospital.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
