CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Fire crews successfully knocked down a pickup truck fire on northbound Interstate 15 near the top of the Cajon Pass Thursday afternoon.
According to San Bernardino County Fire, the call came in just after 1pm on May 29, 2025, of a pickup truck on fire on the right shoulder.
Everybody was able to get out of the Chevrolet S-10, but the truck was destroyed.
The fire appears to have started in the truck’s engine compartment and spread to the cab area but the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
