CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> No injuries were reported after a car caught fire just off of Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass Friday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and multiple fire departments said they received a call of a vehicle fire on northbound Interstate 15 just after Kenwood Avenue exit. It was reported around 12:37pm May 30, 2025, a black BMW sedan on fire on the right shoulder of the freeway between the mainline and the truck bypass lanes.
Flames were coming from the engine compartment.
Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.
No injuries were reported.
