VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Victorville California Highway Patrol announced that officers picked up its first of two Specially Marked Patrol Vehicle (SMPV) last week or two. These stealth cars are meant to help officers discreetly catch more speeders and reckless drivers, officials said.

Wednesday June 4, the new incognito CHP vehicle was out on Interstate 15 and caught two special drivers off guard. Both drivers were speeding over 90 mph and with no insurance, officer said.

These are exactly the type of drivers and driving we are using our new Specially Marked Patrol Vehicles to stop.  We are doing our part to crack down on dangerous and unsafe driving in the High Desert, please do your part and slow down.
