CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two-vehicle crash along Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass led to major traffic delays early Friday afternoon, after a silver Audi A series sedan Tundra collided with a pickup truck pulling a vehicle on a trailer, sending the sedan into the guardrail.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 12pm on Friday, June 6, 2025, in the southbound lanes of I-15, just after the Cleghorn Road exit. The Audi, driven by a man may have struck the pickup truck pulling a trailer under unclear circumstances, prompting an emergency response from multiple agencies.
The Audi became disabled in the #2 and the #3 lane sideway with front-end damage and all airbags deployed.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The crash caused significant backups in south directions of I-15. Crews worked quickly to clear the scene around 12:45pm, and traffic began flowing more freely again.
