CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving a pickup truck and a pickup truck pulling a RV trailer caused a significant traffic delays on northbound Interstate 15 early Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded at approximately 6:46am on June 9, 2025, to a report of a crash in the Cajon Pass on northbound I-15 about 2 miles before the Oak Hill Road exit.

A white Ford F-250 pickup truck was reported to be speeding prior to the collision. The driver of the Ford rear-ended a RV travel trailer that was been pulled by a gray pickup truck, resulting the Ford pickup to lose control and rolled off the freeway, then went down the embankment in the center median of the freeway.

The driver of the white Ford reported to have minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The crash caused significant traffic delays across northbound lanes during the morning commute. By 7:30am, authorities reported that traffic was flowing normally again in the area after the RV debris was pickup from the traffic lanes.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
