CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist is hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after a lane-splitting accident in the Cajon Pass.

The crash was reported about 5:48pm, Wednesday June 11, 2025, on the northbound Interstate 15 in the center divider just before the Kenwood Avenue exit.

Preliminary reports say the motorcyclist was attempting to lane-split, driving between two vehicles traveling in the same direction, when the rider clipped a vehicle in the left lane.

The impact caused rider to be thrown from the motorcycle.

CHP said the motorcyclist, whose age has not been released, was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injurie.
