YERMO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people were airlifted after a rollover crash Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 15.

It happened just before 1am June 11, 2025, on northbound I-15 near the Midway Rest Area exit in the center divider upside down.

It was reported a single-vehicle crash with two people inside the vehicle. Posted on the CHP Traffic Log the driver was driving reckless at a high speed prior to the rollover crash.

According to the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire said, two occupants needed to be extricated from the vehicle.

They called for two medical helicopters to land at the scene. Mercy Air #66 airlifted one person from the crash scene to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas. The other helicopter REACH Air Medical #43 landed on the freeway and transported the second patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
