HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person killed in a four-vehicle crash that shut down lanes on Summit Valley Road near Foley Rd on Wednesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Summit Valley Rd near Foley Rd in Hesperia. It shut down all lanes from the Hesperia Airport to Highway 138. The crash was reported at 1:44pm June 18, 2025.
The four vehicles involved in the collision were a black Honda Accord sedan with major passenger side and front-end damage, a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with major front-end damage, a FedEx Ground delivery step van that hit the embankment and overturned, and a white GMC utility truck that rolled over.
Emergency personnel from San Bernardino County Fire rendered aid and said, the male driver of the Honda was deceased at the scene.
Authorities said the other people involved in the collision sustained only minor injuries.
Lanes were reopened at 6:48pm.
