LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Brush fire spreads across 10 acres in Lucerne Valley Saturday afternoon.
San Bernardino County Fire, CAL Fire, and other fire crews responded to the so-called Baker Fire at 4;28pm on July 5, 2025, on Powerline Road near Baker Road.
Firefighters found approximately 2 acres of brush and burning. With the afternoon gusty winds contributed to the fire’s rapid expansion, prompting the request for additional units.
Crews worked for approximately two hours to contain the fire and extinguish hot spots. The fire burned about 10 acres in total before being brought under control.
No structural damage or injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
