APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 15 Tuesday afternoon resulted in one of the vehicles rolling over multiple times.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire said the initial crash was reported around 2:24pm July 8, 2025, on northbound I-15 about a mile before Hodge Road.
From the CHP traffic log the initial crash reported said the driver of a gray Nissan Pathfinder SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed and driving reckless. The Nissan contact with a white Dodge Ram dually pickup truck pulling a goose neck trailer with a forklift on it.
The driver of the Nissan hit the back of the trailer rear driver side tires. That sent the Nissan airborne and rolled over multiple time landed on its wheels.
One person was ejected from the Nissan. The passenger side of the Nissan was totally gone.
Upon arrival, CHP officers discovered a person laying on ground in the traffic lanes. The person was deceased at the scene with injuries sustained during the crash.
San Beranardino County Fire called for a medical helicopter to landed at the crash scene. CHP helicopter #80 landed and airlifted one person to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley with unknown injuries.
