BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol responded to a single-car rollover crash Saturday evening on northbound Interstate 15
At approximately 5:23pm July 12, 2025, CHP and San Bernardino County Fire responded to I-15 northbound milepost 120 or about 8 miles from Basin Road exit for the report of a single vehicle rollover crash in the center median.
The preliminary investigation indicates a white sedan, was traveling northbound on I-15 freeway. The car departed the roadway into the dirt center median, rolling over at least couple times. The vehicle landed near the southbound side before coming to a stop upright.
During the rollover, it was reported a child passenger was ejected from the car.
According to San Bernardino County Fire, they required a medical helicopter to land at the scene.
As a result of the rollover, one person was airlifted to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Sadly, one person succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.
The identity of the person is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, CHP officials said.
No word yet on what led to the crash. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
