CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A driver remains at large after a hit-and-run incident that killed a motorcyclist in the Cajon Pass Friday morning.
The incident was reported at approximately 12:32am on July 25, 2025, on northbound Interstate 15 at the truck scales offramp. The vehicles involved in the collision was reported a motorcycle and a gray Scion xB compact box car, according to California Highway Patrol traffic log.
The motorcyclist stop on the right shoulder in front of the truck scales when the rider was struck by the Scion xB, which continued driving after the collision.
San Bernardino County Fire arrived on scene and started CPR on the rider. Paramedics pronounced the rider deceased at the scene.
CHP reported found the vehicle abandoned a short distance away on the Highway 138 offramp. The driver had fled on foot and remained at large at this time.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
No description of the hit-and-run driver was available at this time.
