BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A man suffered injuries when his pickup truck rear-ended a moving semi tractor-trailer on Interstate 15 Saturday night, authorities said.
The crash happened at around 8:19pm August 9, 2025, on northbound I-15 freeway about a mile before the Lenwood Road. The California Highway Patrol said a semi hauling Amazon goods traveling in the slow lane at freeway speeds. That’s when a blue pickup traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into the trailer and cause the pickup to overturned.
CHP said, the driver the pickup was pinned for a short time before being extricated by the City of Barstow Fire Department and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The semi driver was not hurt.
