CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 138 near Interstate 15 Wednesday evening.
The crash was reported about 5:23pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, on Hwy 138 about a mile from I-15 Freeway on the Hesperia side.
CHP said, the driver lost control and rolled multiple times on the highway. The driver was then ejected from the vehicle, due to not wearing a seatbelt.
Rescue crews conducted a major search on the ground and in the air by a helicopter to check for more victims along the roadway. CHP traffic log stated a car seat was loose the vehicle.
The driver was taken by ground ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
