BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi-trailer was fully engulfed in flames on southbound Interstate 15, causing traffic delays in the town of Baker Mondy afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the back of a semi-truck caught fire on Monday, August 25, 2025. CHP said the incident happened on southbound I-15 just after the town of Baker and expected the scene would be cleared by 12am.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The fire appears to have started in the semi rear brakes.
There were no reports of injuries.
