FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was killed in a suspected DUI crash involving multiple vehicles on the 210 Freeway early Sunday morning.
At approximately 2:26am Sunday August 24, 2025, California Highway Patrol, rescues personal responded to a traffic collision on the eastbound 210 Freeway, just after Beech Avenue exit.
Rescues workers arrived at the scene they found one driver trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters extricated the driver, but the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene in Acura sedan. The passenger was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
From the CHP preliminary crash report indicated that a gray Acura ILX sedan rear-ended a burgundy Tesla, leaving both vehicles disabled in traffic lanes blocking the two left lanes.
Shortly after, a White Infiniti G Series car crashed into the driver side of the Acura. The driver of the white sedan was evaluated and arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
CHP open the two right lanes at 3:16am, then at 6am all lanes were reopen.
