CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcycle rider who was seriously injured about a year ago in the Cajon Pass has succumbed to his injuries, family members said on Friday has setup a GoFundMe account.
59-year-old, Moises (Moy) Ulloa, a resident of Barstow.
On Saturday October 5, 2024, about 12:09pm on southbound Interstate 15 just before the Truck Escape Ramp. Ulloa was riding his motorcycle and a black SUV made contact, sending Ulloa off his bike landing in the traffic lanes.
Ulloa was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. He fought long and hard in the hospital, but with his history of congestive heart failure and the injuries from the accident, his body could not keep fighting, the family said in a statement.
Persilla Ulloa said, our dad was a man full of love, strength, and resilience. Losing him has left our family heartbroken, and now we are faced with the heavy responsibility of laying him to rest.
