BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash has released information about the crash that happened Thursday morning on Interstate 15.
The crash occurred on Thursday morning about 1:10am October 2, 2025. The collision happened on southbound I-15 Freeway between Lenwood Road and Outlet Center Drive exits.
California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office said in the news release, 47-year-old Bobby Brown, a resident of Victorville was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle on southbound I-15 when, for reasons still under investigation, he collided into the rear of a 2020 Freightliner Flatbed Tow Truck being driven by a 39-year-old man from Las Vegas, Nevada.
“After the initial impact, the motorcycle veered to the right shoulder, where the rider was fully ejected from the motorcycle,” the statement said.
Recuse crews arrived at the scene and found the rider suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Freightliner was not injured.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
