SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> José Hugo Gonzalez, 60-year-old, driver killed in a collision Thursday morning crash on Interstate 215 in San Bernardino.

The incident happened on southbound I-215 just past the Orange Show Road exit according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 1:55am on Thursday October 2, 2025.
Its was reported, Gonzalez lost control of his semi bottom dump double-trailer while approaching a small bend on the freeway, struck a freeway concrete barrier on the right shoulder, then overturned and hit a freeway sign pole.
The semi was hauling gravel and explode in flames after the crash.
Emergency crews tried to put out the fire and rescue the driver who was unable to escape.
Sadly, Gonzalez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
