CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pick-up went off Interstate 15 down the embankment and landed upside down in a wash, killing the driver Tuesday afternoon, officials say.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 1:13pm October 14, 2025, on northbound I-15 just after Highway 138 onramp.
A witnesses stated the male driver of the dark gray pickup truck was traveling at an unsafe speed for the rainy conditions before losing control, skidded, overturned, and rolling down the embankment.
San Bernardino County Fire rescues crews arrived and confirmed the driver was trapped inside and unresponsive.
Firefighters pulled the man out and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash.
