SILVERWOOD LAKE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol was in pursuit of a motorcycle Friday night in Los Angeles County.
Officers began the chase around 9pm on October 17, 2025, in the city of Lancaster, because the rider did not have a front headlight on and no license plate.
The motorcyclist continued to race through city streets and eventually on Highway 138 at speeds as high around 80+ mph. A CHP airplane and then a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s helicopter followed what officers believed was the suspect’s motorcycle into Hwy 138.
After a spotlight from the helicopter followed him for several miles, the motorcyclist stopped on Hwy 138 near Pilot Roack Road.
The motorcyclist was taken into custody without incident around 11:15pm.
